I am OK! (taken from the Official Daniel Wu Fan Newsletter)

Hello everyone!

Long time no write! I have had a very busy past few months. I have done three movies since the last time I wrote to you all. I have finished "New Police Story", "Enter the Phoenix" and "One Night in Mongkok".

Last week I finally had time to have my knee operation. The operation went well although it lasted over two and a half hours! I am now at home resting and recovering. My physiotherapist is working really hard with me to get me back up and walking again! Hopefully I will be able to walk normally within a couple of weeks. That is what I will be focusing on for the month of March. No movie work, just concentrating on getting healthy! Thanks to all of you who have expressed concern over my knee, it has helped me so much!

When I come back from my rest, "Enter the Phoenix" will be released on April 8th. I am really looking forward to this because we had so much fun making this movie. I really liked working with Karen Mok, Eason Chan, Chapman To and of course the director Stephen Fung. I was able to see some of it and I think everyone will enjoy this movie a lot! In April I will be going back to China to finish up some work on "Twins Effects 2". I have already filmed a few days in Yunnan, China. It was such a beautiful location in a cave deep underground!

Just a reminder to you all that the Danielwunewletter is the only official site that I have set up. The other sites have been set up by fans that have worked very hard on making very beautiful websites. However, there are one or two that say they have been set up be me but are not( ie. One more thing I would like to address. A lot of you have been writing to me for advice on career choices, what to study, relationships etc. I appreciate all of you writing to me about these issues, it gives me a much deeper insight to who all of you are. The only thing I can say to all of you is...trust yourself! Really get inside of yourself and search for the answers. If that doesn't work, talk to your best friend, your Mother, Father, Sister or Brother. These are people who are close to you and love you and can help steer you in the right direction. In the end your heart will know what to do.
