Last night in Japan. Osaka has much more of a city feel than Kyoto. I like the latter better but being in Osaka will help me acclimate to my impending return to Hong Kong.

Kaiseki dining northwest of Kyoto. Favorite was, surprisingly, the dessert!
本來擔心沒有櫻花看因為朋友說天氣暖又下過雨。但站在祇園，美麗的事實就在眼前。 The beauty and splendor of Gion District is just like a postcard. But boy was it hard to find a place to eat! Many places do not welcome English speakers and most are set up in a way that's so private that it feels weird to even walk in. Next time, must come with Kyoto friends in-the-know.
