we've been lucky enough to have some hints of summer weather here in San Francisco and that means....day parties!
there's nothing like a sunny day in Golden Gate park with your friends and good beats. last weekend was the season opener for Acid Totem's Biorhythm series. every last sunday of the month during summer and free at that! they invited me out along with Audiovoid and Evinrude to kick things off along with their resident DJs. i had an absolute b!last playing.
here's recording of my set:
DJ Bam - Live at Biorhythm - clocks in just under an hour long, 77mbs or so.
not a perfect mix by any means, but a fun mix of fidgetty house, tech funk and breaks. here's a track list for those interested:
1. Superstyledeluxe / Sonny Wharton - Meatcake
2. Crookers - Chippin It Up 4 a Killa (Trevor Lovey's re-work)
3. Green Velvet - It's Time to Jack
4. Riva Starr - Jack My Bell
5. Myagi - Giorgio Marauder (Diverted Mix)
6. Groove Allegiance - Restless
7. John Acquaviva / Oliver Giacomotto - Good (Dopamine Remix)
8. Claude VonStroke vs. Too Short - Blow the Whistler (Hookerz & Blow mix)
9. Phil Kieran - Missp
10. Boy 8-Bit - Fogbank (Jack Beats remix)
11. Elite Force - Used & Abused (Zodiac Cartel Mix #1)
12. Claude VonStroke - Chimps
lots of people came out to enjoy the warm weather and dope beats:
no, i'm not angry. i'm just giving it my best "bass face" as in "damn, this beat is nasty."
and here's a clip of Audiovoidlaying it down later in the day: http://youtube.com/watch?v=91LcVvnYX7I
