Upcoming Films - Pls don't be crap!

I've been watching a lot of films recently and the other day I was at the apple trailers site and watched a whole bunch of goodness... Well... more like hope for some good shit.  There still hasn't been many movies that have really sold me.  It's all been more of a "Yeah, that was pretty good... but not amazing".  I still think 'Casino Royale' is the best film recently and that was years ago already!!! Did I like Quantum you my ask?  Well yeah, it was good... But still not as amazing as Casino Royal.

I admit that I'm a scifi sucker when it comes to films.... I just love effects. One of the only reasons why I go to the cinema... for an eye orgy I also love animation a lot!

Seriously... Why isn't Jason Tobin casted as Spock!  Ba-Ba-Boon pls photoshop the ears on Tobin and prove to the world he was born to play new Spock.

Well.. I guess I'll have to wait and see if these will be good...

I do like HK flicks too... but same again I haven't seen a great on in ages... I love Wong Kar Wai Films... I loved Sam Lee in Made in Hong Kong by Fruit Chan. Unfortunately only available on VCD..  I love most of the Triad Movies too... Young and Dangerous, Election, etcetc... Stephen Chow classics.... 'God of Cookery' is my fav

The other day, I was very fortunate to have been invited to see the premiere of a new HK film, BEAST STALKER staring Nicholas Tse.  Actually the whole cast was awesome!!!  This is a must see... It was intense!  Great film... I think Nic will definitely win awards for his performance on this one...

I was really annoyed at some of the audience members that night too... laughing and screaming at scenes when it was really inappropriate to.... How would I describe these scenes to you without ruining the film... The one scene that those fools really pissed me off the most was... oh crap... I cant say... it would ruin it... Just imagine a really dramatic scene and a corner of the audience laughing or going "Eeeeeeeeeeeewwwww!" Come on!!!

On a brighter note.... I did enjoy a really silly film from Japan.... Detroit Metal City!!!!

And I was really surprised to see Gene Simmons in it too!!!! Well figures... As the title of the film/ comic was inspired by Kiss' 'Detroit Rock City'....

I think the Japanese will always stay true to the original story and character and try to make it as close to the original book/cartoon.  Always good to see... I was so disappointed  with the new Hollywood versions of Spiderman, Superman, X-men and Incredible Hulk... Ironman and Batman rocked but I have a feeling sequels will suck... There's talk of the Avengers but I'm not getting my hopes up...
