Yay!

Yesterday I got to rock out w/ my friends Siam and  Sarah Yang. We totally rocked out in Siam’s studio. Oh man, Fun stuff… my ears are still ringing…

Siam is the lead singer of this awesome band called Wings Like Weapons. Totally check out these two! Love these two amazing people.

For people that are pursuing their dreams, and asking the question, “will I make it?” If God is for you? Who can be against you?

There was a young boy who always dreamed of being a professional football player. As he grew older, he ended up becoming a college football coach. After that he went on to work with the NFL. His life didn’t exactly match up with his dream, but in the end it still was pretty close.

The bible says that without vision my people perish.

Suppose a person is walking around aimlessly through a city without direction or motive. It won’t be long before he gets tired or confused. I remember doing this once, and when I walked past the same point several times I started feeling a little self-conscious. I’d start wondering what other people thought and hoped they didn’t think I was weird. I look back now and think it’s kinda funny, but oh well.

If you know you’re going to Starbucks to get a Grande Vanilla double shot Hazel nut flavor Latte, getting from point A to point B won’t be very difficult. You KNOW exactly where you’re going. You can walk with absolute confidence to find your little cup of Jo. There’s no doubt in your mind and with that, you will feel very secure.

I love the phrase, “insecurities reveal false securities.” Basically what you thought would bring you stability in the end wasn’t really that stable. Whether it be a relationship, marriage, money, etc… these things fluctuate.

That’s why Jesus is the Rock. He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. He is the Alpha and Omega.
