high school reunion at brussels sprouts and k-ster...

Some of the best times of my life happened when I was just a student, 20 years ago...

Back in those River Valley High School  days, some of us would stay back after class, whip out our own collection of song lyrics, and sing together. After school (sometimes during school hours!), we would go roller-skating at Supreme Roller Disco , and hang out at the Kim Seng Bowl or Fire disco . We even formed groups and won the school's " Talentime " singing contest, as well as the interschool " Xinyao " local folk songs contests!

Some were infamous for breaking the school rules, some were teachers' pets, some were sports aces, and some, like me, were the typical bookworms and geeks...

Those were the days, my friend, we thought they'll never end...

And then, of course, people moved away, changed their phone numbers (and back then it was purely home numbers - pagers were not even popular yet), got married, and generally lost contact...

But all thanks again to Facebook , I finally managed to find and meet up with some of my best pals that I had not seen in 20 years!

and yours truly... After many rounds of drinks at Brussels Sprouts and K-Ster Inc. Karaoke , the rest had to leave early, while Jo , Desmond ( Weilin ) and I went over to Victoria Street's Food Centre for some super delicious Frog Legs Porridge supper...

It had been such a wonderful night getting together with these old friends. What's even more amazing was that our chemistry together is still as good as twenty years ago!!!
