How often do you change your mobile phone?
If you're a sentimental techo-blur like me, who's easily confused with the latest gadget models and technology, and prefer to spend your cash on other necessities, chances are, it could be years before you switch phones too...
But after only less than three years of using my current Nokia N70 , it has decided enough is enough, and simply refuses to notify me of any incoming SMSes or calls. If you don't get my immediate response and wonder why I discourage phone calls or SMS chats, now you know why...
So today, together with Katrina who'd bought the Nokia N70 with me back then (haha, yes I'm not the only one! =P), we headed over to the Hello! Singtel Shop at Bugis Junction , and had a chat with the customer service guy. An hour later, we walked away with a new cheaper 2-year contract plan, and new mobile phones!
Here's the old, and the new...
From N70 to N78
We got the above Nokia N78 at S$238 each, with a new Singtel iOne Plus (S$25.68 per month) contract for two years. Not a bad deal, I think...
As of now, the new phone is still dormant and waiting for the fresh battery to be fully charged for the first time, but I can't wait to start exploring already!
Was just reading through the online review here, and it seems pretty promising so far: http://www.mobile88.com/cellphone/Nokia/Nokia-N78/review.asp
Those of you who have experience with this phone, or knows how to maximise its capabilities and potential, please do comment and share your (re)views here!
Much appreciated!! :-)
Now I just realised I have no idea where my N70 's Nokia PC Suite CD and cable are... how do I transfer all the old contacts data and photos and music and tons of smses from the old phone to the new??
starts to panic
