10 things I've learnt from Going the Distance.

1. A cougar is somebody who wants to relive the times again, not somebody who wants to be young.

2. Though it may look like it, when a man cries, it’s not what you think.

3. Trying it on the phone is good when there is a plan.

4. Tanning spray tastes like poison.

5.  I do not want a room mate with an ‘open door policy’.

6.  Excessive P.D.A is only natural. :P

7.  It’s not a mustache, it’s a time machine.

8.  Abolish the three second rule, especially on dining tables.

9.  The Guy Next Door thing?  Major Turn-On. (Long gone are the days where cool hunks steal the show!)

10. Going the Distance is just as hard as it looks. 

 Usually, everybody loathes seeing a movie with a real-life couple just because it’s hard to fake the sparks again,  but Justin Long and Drew Barrymore’s on-screen chemistry was surprisingly adorable and natural. With that being said, the supporting actors did a superb job, Justin Long’s room mates in the movie (Jason Sudeikis & Charlie Day) and Drew Barrymore’s character’s sister, Christina Applegate could have very well stole the show! Oh, and I also love the way they dressed Drew Barrymore’s. 

All in all, Going the Distance is one of the best romantic comedies I’ve seen in a long while. It was relatable, down-to-earth, not too cheesy, hilarious and sweet all at the same time.
