We need walls. You need art.
From May 12-18th, HKwalls will transform a number of uncurated and neglected walls and shutters into large original pieces of art by a group of Hong Kong-based and international street artists.
For the first year of the event, the work will be concentrated on the area around Blake Garden in Sheung Wan, i.e. Tai Ping Shan St, Po Hing Fong, Pound Lane, Sai Street, Square Street, Tai Ping Shan St, Hollywood Rd, etc.
I'm super psyched to be taking part in the first HKwalls, and I'll be collaborating with Hong Kong's Used Pencil on a collaborative piece! Check us out at at Tai On Terrace (see #10 on the map below). Stop by anytime from 2-8pm this Saturday, May 18th, to see the wall in progress and to say hi!
For more information about the artists involved, and to see some of the work in action, check out HKwalls Facebook page here.
