Being Grateful

Hi,Another diary moment as I felt the need to share.  Some of you may know that I have the "carrot on a stick" mentality which makes me unhappy most of the time but this morning I actually gave thanks!I AM VERY GRATEFUL THAT DURING THE DAY, I GET TO TAKE PART IN THE DIGITAL MUSIC REVOLUTION AND AT NIGHT, I GET TO BE A MUSICIAN AND SHARE MY CRAFT.This affirmation is very powerful.  I'm no longer complaining about what needs to happen at work or in my musical career.  There is still the drive but don't get me wrong, it's just that there are now more elements of "LET IT BE" in my daily routine.  it is very important to strike the balance (much needed to keep the sanity in check)Over the past year, there were many "1st".  Songs were written and stories were told.  Band was formed.  Criticisms were given, and praises were received.  There were open mics and there were gigs.At time of writing, the songwriting phase for this year is coming to an end.  The next phase will then be to edit / re-write / refine the songs with the band.Thank you all for giving me the opportunity.  2010 is shaping to be a busy year already.  Bring it!!!!!Eric
