1 weekend, 2 days, 2 weddings, 2 Raffles

OK, so the 1st wedding i'm gonna talk about ain't real.  It's a new local movie called "Wedding of The Year" starring Fann wong and Christopher Lee...

...and even then, the scene we shot last Saturday 22Nov was obviously not a wedding...

...although going by the number of people on set that day...

...we would have had no trouble at all...

...filling up a good sized banquet hall...

...especially since half the scenic cast were still being held at the 4th floor waiting area while we shot on the 70th floor at Raffles City.

That's right, 70th. Check out the panoramic view:

It's true what they say about the view from the top. When you're this high up, the top of the Suntec Convention Centre actually looks like...

...a section of durian shell laid flat.

 And the real 'durian', The Esplanade, looks like the compound eyes of a housefly.

Go figure....

Now, for the real wedding on Sunday 23 Nov...

...even the car's decked out in its sunday-best...

...about to fetch the bride...

...i still couldn't convince the groom to let me publish his handsome mug.

Later, the solemnisation ceremony between 'S' and 'J'... ...at the Raffles Hotel... .. ...witnessed by about 100 relatives and close friends.

Later still, in the East India Room...

...at our table...

...Chrys & Kaiwei, Eileen & Zing seated on my right...

...mummy Joanna, baby Rui'ann,  brother Ansel & daddy Jason comfortably on my left...

...and with our backs to the stage, my wife Denise, Avryl and me...

...cos our seats were pre-ordained...

But it's not like i minded really...cos i was up on stage alot anyway, emceeing ;)
