( 2nd re-post with edits.) friends, TODAY is my birthday and even though we may not have spoken or met up in a long while.....don't worry, i'm not asking you to 'comment' on a memory of us or how we met, nothing of that sort. if anything, those who know me even a little bit would know that i place little stock on birthdays, especially my own. i have however come to a stage in life at which i find that there is something very wrong with the world we live in. and very often, as we go thru the cycle of the daily grind and subsequent seeking of pleasure (or pain relief), we are left with little or no time at all for much else. and so the cycle continues and what is wrong would never be corrected simply because we are not even remotely aware of where the actual core of all the issues that plague us lies... so if you would do me (and yourself) this favour, pls take some time to watch the documentary in the link below. let me warn you first that it is 2hrs41min long. there's alot of information to absorb. you may not have time to finish it in one sitting. but i hope you will eventually watch it in its entirety and perhaps when you're done, drop me a comment anytime with your thoughts on the matter. cos i don't want presents and i don't need birthday wishes. what i want is for the cycles of violence, prejudices, injustices, & suffering to end.... have a nice day :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Z9WVZddH9w
