Whatever you were thinking....that's not it.
Today, i went to register Avryl for Primary school. Seems like not too long ago i was checking out kindergartens near my place and suddenly...my little girl is going to Primary 1 next year. Where did the time go?
So there i sat, armed with Avryl's birth cert and inoculation papers, awaiting my turn to fill up the paperwork when this group of girls started dancing:
Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s6uDkTP6Xrc OK, so they were already there when i got to the school, sitting on the floor, facing the other way, chatting among themselves in their little cliches. i was wondering what they were doing. i mean, shouldn't they be in class or something?
Inevitably, some of the girls spotted me and started pointing at me, giggling and whispering among themselves. Soon enough, this whole section of little school girls closer to me were stealing glances. i felt kinda awkward and all i could do was smile back. it was very much to my relief when the music started. Never thought girls no older than 12 could have such an effect on me...while the teachers and registration administrators paid me no special attention whatsoever :P
So anyways, mine (Avryl's rather) was the 63rd application on this final day of phase2C....vying for 57 remaining slots. From what i gathered talking to the administrators, there's a high chance of balloting for applicants living within 2 km of the school.
Wish me...i mean Avryl... luck. :)
