Day 2 of shoot on 'Singapore MaMa' ( as the title suggests, it's all about mothers and their stories ) and I met my family.
My boy...
...who kept hiding his cute face when i tried to take his picture so i snapped this one while he was distracted
My mum...
...a picture of us taken back in...just today actually :P
My dad???
Actually...no. That's the owner of the place we shot at. He's a frail old guy in his 80s. That's him IN the 80's. And this is him as a young man
At a time with no mega gyms and protein drinks...RESPECT. That's the word that came to my mind.
This is TK, our sound guy.
We've worked together on a couple other shoots and I got this role thanks to him. No audition, just his good word. Thanx alot TK! :)
The 'ang pao's in my hand above were props, cos i got married, to my first wife, today.
But no ball&chain can tell 'the fish' wat he can or cannot do :P
Now, see if you can guess where we went for the next location
Residents of Singapore would have no problem recognising this place
It's an abandoned police headquarters
Here's a shot of an old spiral staircase behind our 'visitation room'
And this is a real life jail cell.
i love the way sunlight shines in from the high grilled window behind me...
...and i just couldn't bring myself to deny y'all a full view of the toilet bowl :P
The cell's probably big enough for 5, maybe 6 inmates. We made do with just 2.
And don't let this pic fool you...
Finally , to cap things off on a more auspicious note, our final location.
A shop in Chinatown selling traditional Chinese wedding related stuff.
And i'm reliefed to report: zero-casualties. This is 'the fish', signing off....
I\'m just a working actor doing what I love and loving what I do. ............................ Q: Will my time ever come? A: Yes...I have to believe it w
