Innocence.....Lost

I love children. Maybe it's because I have a kid myself. Or maybe I'm just a big baby. Come to think of it, aren't we all?

It's been a while since I worked with kids. This past Friday, I was acting in a shortfilm entitled "THE MOMENT". I played the role of a gangster ( what else?) who has a one-sided conversation with these 2...

...and that 'conversation' somehow inspires them to seek revenge for their murdered father albeit years later and each takes a different path.....I know, it's hard to imagine, especially with this 2 little angels.

So strictly speaking, we don't actually interact much in the scene. But off camera, it's a different story altogether:

that's the kids' "mummy", who leaves the boy with me and takes the girl with her, leading to their separate journey towards a common end....

Hopefully, I'll be able to put up some excerpts in a month or 2 when I get my copy of the finished shortfilm. Stay tuned....
