what is the main purpose of having speed limits on our roads? is it not for safety concerns? is safety not paramount? so instead of coming up with ways and means of penalising drivers for exceeding speed limits, why not implement in-vehicle speed limiters so nobody can ever exceed the speed limit, even if they wanted to? think of the lives, time and money saved. and before you think that will never work, don't forget that every locally registered vehicle already has an IU for ERP.
