I'm excited about the upcoming Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival. I go every year, and have an amazing time seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones. This year I had the privilege of being asked to compose music for the festival's trailer that precedes every screening, and I was more than happy to support such a great festival which promotes the amazing work of many Asian American talents. I was also thrilled with the artistic freedom to do a spectacular piece of music for a wonderful piece of animation without having to compete with sound and dialogue. Props to Michael Velasquez for creating the inspiring visuals.

There are also two short films ( Wake Up! and Slip and Slide) that I worked on which are screening at the festival. Details are below if you want to catch them. And if you want to see me on the big screen (I have a very brief appearance, so I'm told), I'm also an extra in the wedding scene of Quentin Lee's sex comedy, The People I've Slept With, which stars my friend Karin Anna Cheung and was written by another friend of mine, Koji Sakai. I can't wait to see it myself, I've heard amazing things about their film.
