Can Anyone Answer My Inquiry?

So I went to McDonald's today at 8:30 looking for a DOUBLE QUARTER POUNDER WITH CHEESE which is something that just came to HK not too long ago. Now if you've been in the states for any amount of time, you'd know that if you were at McDonald's you'd order a DOUBLE QUARTER POUNDER WITH CHEESE instantly.

Ok, so I'm there and I order one and the guy at the counter tells me that they only serve the said burger AFTER NINE O'CLOCK PM.

I asked why, and he went back to the manager and came back with the reply "Because the office said so...."

WHAT THE FACK MCDONALD'S?

IS THERE ANY OTHER FOOD ITEM ON YOUR POST BREAKFAST MENU THAT I NEED TO BE AWARE OF WITH RESPECT TO THE TIME I CAN CONSUME SAID ITEM?

DO I NEED TO BE ON A GUESTLIST?
