Gong Wu to play Music Matters 2009!

We've just had the great news that we have been selected to play for the Music Matters Asian Music Conference on June 3rd 2009! We are delighted with the news that we have the opportunity to legally scream profanties into the faces of many of the most powerful music bosses of Asia.Although MP3's and the internet are like SARS to music industry bosses. We in fact love them both and we give you our music for free from www.gongwuband.com!With this show in mind we have promised each other that we will drink less, practice more and quit our day jobs to make time to think about music and other profound things like what amps sound good and other stuff like that.We believe that by following buddhist monks, and quitting our life and meditating on music that we will become (as we say in Kwai Chung) "More Good" In Buddisht terms..Rock & Roll = A force of compassion and loving kindnessWorking 9-5 = Suffering!Gong Wu believes that if everyone in the world quit their 9-5 jobs just like buddhist monks, then they too could share in our happiness.
