Panda's in the Mist

So here all pics from the shoot that I promised.      Fun stuff icky stuff and cute stuff.

my basic look was kind of strang,  supposed to be a swiss german zoologist.   We got by.  wish i kept the hat thoughhere i am with the lovely Fatima Ya Qi.   I think she is one of the best actresses I have ever worked with in Asia.  She is an unsung hero.  The Girl can act act act.  and she is Incredibly beautiful topping it off she is one of the most delightful people I have met in a long time.      I think I'm in Love   ;-)

I  was injured on set.  Hey It goes with the territories, one of these wounds is real one is not, can you tell which is the real one?   Both painful.  strangely though the phony one hurt more to remove that it did to actually get the real one.

sh'es gonna get me.she got me.  When we shot this, she actually wailed me in the back of the head.  It was all I could do to keep from laughing when it happened, because i knew actually getting hit probably looked better than  doing a double reaction.    ofcourse it was right after we shot these two photo's  so even though it hurt I was cracking up roaring once they yelled cut.  

absolutely one of the cutest actresses of China. yeah   i really have to pay attention to who has a camera when i am making these faces.

The shoot went well   it was fun

the real star of the movie,  this is what you all wanna see.  He is so cute and cuddly, no wonder people from Henan all jump into cages to hug the fluffy little critters.

Becafeful  making weird faces on a movie set,  you never know who has a camera,  luckily this one wasn't too bad.

I think the director had just said he loved me or something. 

yes even panda's get stunt doubles.   

we actually have a fight scene between me and the panda involving intense wire work and high flying special effects, unfortunately the tapes were lost and this amazing sequence was lost forever.

Sleeping on set is one of the many things an actor does It felt like the sound of music in Sichuan.    instead of 8 kids we had a panda.   

This film was a step away from what I am known for in my realm.  I do lots of dramatic work, but it never gets noticed, only the action stuff. 

This  projec I hope will let people know I can do more than just jump off buildings kick and punch,  however I did have to work in a big fall through a wall. it just wouldn't have been work wthout it

. See I told you they wanted to eat me.  but it took me being tied to this stake for you to believe me

Here is my stunt buddy stefan together with Ya Qi and I.   Stefan did a great job playing my uncle Hans. If any of you ever get to see the film you might get a kick out of me talking with a shotty German accent  and Stefan (who actually is German)  lapsing into a west coast american accent throughout the film.   We just said his character was well travelled.    while mine was a reject from DR. strangelove.
