Lights, Camera, ACTION!

Well we’re no stranger to shoots at island6, and our latest model was more of the furry on four legs type of beauty. She was called 小布丁 or Little Pudding, true enough to her name she was a very sweet dog indeed with star quality. Twas but a chance meeting that brought her our way after searching high and low for a pug to star in Liu Dao’s next piece.

Pugs have a long regal history, they are originally a Chinese dog, bred to grace the laps of Chinese sovereigns of the Shang dynasty before making their way over to Europe to be the favourite pet of the European Royal Familes. Marie Antoinette had one, Queen Victoria had a collection and now island6 will forever have one caught and captured on camera.

A little bit unfocused at first, her owner had to bribe her with crisps and stay by her side for moral support. Pudding was the kind of diva that would put most divas to shame,  refusing to stand on her spot and at times not even bothering to look our way, however, she soon settled down and vogued for us in all manner of ways. A true natural.

Then during the break whilst everyone took 5 minutes to review the film, in diva style, in the middle of a busy gallery, Pudding took a poop. Needless to say we all found it very amusing.
