The Shanghai Contemporary Art Fair 2012

The time has come again, like every year, where we must bid adieu to the annual SH Contemporary Art Fair.

It ran from the 7th to the 9th of September where 90 top galleries were represented by 19 countries. Needless to say, all of Shanghai’s finest were in attendance.

With all its preparation stress and worries, like the massive hole that plagued the booth’s wall, the outcome for island6 was worth it. Having the unfortunate situation of  being placed far in the back, island6 did nontheless shine and outshine many other galleries.

island6, next to ShangART and M97, was given the outstanding review as being one of the highlights of the fair. We actually got a lovely feature on Creative Hunt as well!

We are looking forward to what the 2013 Shanghai Contemporary Art Fair has in store for us!
