Curtain Call

We are coming to the last weekend of the shows. I'd like to highlight a couple of events that happened.First it was Fauzie Laily (Tom Robinson) falling seriously sick on Tuesday. And therefore unable to perform on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Fortunately, our Assistant Stage Manager Mohammad Isyaffi aka Iban, who is also a theatre actor, is there to take over. We carried on with the show with some minor changes to our choreography and with Iban reading from script. We apologise to the audiences of Tuesday and Wednesday night show. But Iban had done a great job! Cheerios to you!As for Fauzie, he's recovering well and performed since Thursday's show. Wish you get full recovery soon!I kinda felt sickish on Tuesday too and on Wednesday show, I actually bashed through the entire show with a 37.7 degree fever. Glad I made it. I had been feeling a little sick since last Friday. If I had not been resting well and suppressing the sickness, I might end up like Fauzie and there goes the rest of the shows. Even Fariz (Boo Radley and Mrs Dubose) was feeling a little sick and feverish. The weather in Singapore is crazy! Everyone! Please take care of yourselves!Now for some good news. My daddy arrived Singapore yesterday. Nice cap dadAnd this time, together with mummy and 3 very close uncles. They said they came to Singapore to play golf and watch my showI had been informed a month ago that daddy shaved off his hair and started growing white hair. Its the first time I see it for myself.He said there were people on the streets and some of his friends who thinks he looked like 前任澳门行政长官何厚铧. I didn't quite think so. What do you think?We spent some good times together at our favourite Chicken Rice Boon Tong Kee 文东记.Today, I've just spent the afternoon with my mum settling some administrative matters and went for a short shopping before my Friday night show while daddy went off playing golf with his friends. Here's me and mum while queuing at the bank.We had pork Satay at little India after my show.Its just 3 more shows for the remaining two days of the weekend.
