I want to thank all of you checking on my family and friends back in the Midwest. After the tornadoes which were devastating now so many people and towns are facing floods. I heard it has been 30 years since it was this bad. Now the waters are heading down the rivers and the Mississippi is do the damage.
I think most of us think we have much more control in our lives and in the world than we really do. I must say I am so proud to be an Iowan, a Midwestern, as I hear these people on the news. They are strong, resolute, and standing tall! It is also so heart warming to see how people help each other in times of need, without complaint or hesitation. We see human beings at their best.
I hope to be out there for a wedding later in the summer. I know i will find people who are grateful for what is good in their life and willing to help those around them.
Bless you all for checking in with me. I do appreciate it.
