Dare to Calefare? Dare to Calefare? Dare to Calefare?
I walked pass this poster some time ago and I couldn't resist but take a photo of it!!
For those of you who have already seen my Calefare photo album, you'll know I had plenty of fun during the shoot. The experience is heightened by the fact that the principal crew are similar to those of my French series Deja Vu, and Singapore Short stories, so everyone was like a big family on set!
I also got to work with some new people...
such as Woody. He was hilarious to work with, and a very animated actor. In fact, during the above scene, he was so into his character, he smacked my face with a makeup brush! *oUch~!! It was only when the director shouted cut that Woody apologized, and we all had a good laugh about it. Not so sure if that take will be in the final cut though.
I also worked with Fiona and Gurmit for the very first time. Gurmit is a born comedian. Not only does he make the audience laugh with his onscreen jokes, they continue after the camera stops rolling, and it was simply amazing to work with him.
To prove that I wasn't the only one enjoying myself, read Alaric's previous entry about his time on set.
For those fans of Calefare, you might have seen me for a fleeting second as a Calefare in episode 3, alongside Michelle Chong. For those who hasn't, grab the chance tonight, 9th September, 8pm on channel 5 as a makeup artist.
