Sorry I took a while to begin this mini blog series, I am starting to get busy with work, and ah chOo I’m kinda also under the weather.
So… this mini blog series (MBS), what will it be about? Since this is the first time I’m making a contact with you, exclusively, it sounds like a good idea to introduce myself. Not so much the “fast facts” that is on my official page, but every week, I’ll be introducing one aspect of my life. Some fun, some nostalgic, and some very intimate. I’ve yet to decide if this will be a 5-part or 8-part series, but we’ll play by ear ok?
Today I’m going to share one of my eccentric little hobbies with you. It’s probably one of those things your parents told you off about during childhood. Some people term it as “playing with food.” I don’t know anyone else besides me who does it past teenage years. I don’t know if there’s a proper name for it.

Medium: Strawberry sauce, almond flakes & strawberry leaves.Drew this after watching Sex and the City with my girls, probably inspired by Carrie Bradshaw's writings, as we dissected the movie over dessert. The strawberry were drawn with the sauce, after which almond flakes were sprinkled on, and the final touch was some remains of an already consumed fruit.Location: Mag's Wine KitchenMedium: Salmon roeWhile this is not exactly a drawing, I didn't know what to do with the excess salmon roe sitting on my plate! Certainly the last thing one should do in a semi-fine dinning scenario but bites lips thou shalt not put great food to waste!
