One Foundation Logo | 壹基金的商标

真的很感谢我的好朋友Peter Arnell，他是一位美国顶级的设计师，曾经设计过很多出色的品牌商标。他也非常有爱心，记得两年前我在纽约跟他聊起壹基金，希望他帮壹基金设计一个商标。没过多久，他拿出了50多种设计给我，原来他动用了公司200多设计人员一起来设计，让我真的很感动。

但是要从这50多种设计中选出一个来真是很困难，每一个都不错，挑得我眼花缭乱，也征求了很多朋友的意见，最后我还是把这个决定权交给了我的女儿，当时只有5岁的她最后帮我选定了大家现在看到的这个商标。

再后来就是注册商标，在申请专利的过程中我也学了不少东西，原来注册一个商标要经过很多道手续，花费几十万，才能合法的拥有这个版权。

现在我们终于可以把这个商标拿出来用了，这是一个慈善的、爱心的商标，也是受到国家法律保护的商标，郑重声明严禁盗用、盗版！

这个商标是很多人的心血，很可爱，我很喜欢，希望大家也喜欢，认准这个商标，它代表我们人类是一家人。再次谢谢好朋友Peter Arnell以及他纽约公司的200多员工。

I want to thank my good friend Peter Arnell. He is one of the best designers in the United States and had a hand in the success of many top brands known around the world. Not only is he a genius, he’s also got a great heart. Two years ago I was in New York sharing with him my vision for the foundation, I asked him to help create the foundation logo. After a few weeks, he sent me over 50 different logo concepts. It turns out he used the combined efforts of his 200-person staff in New York to help create the designs. I was very touched by this effort.

But it was really tough to choose one logo out of 50 as they were all very good. After looking at so many logos, I couldn’t decide. So I asked many friends for their opinion. Finally, I left the final decision to my then five-year-old daughter. So she selected the logo you see today.

After the logo was decided, I had to register the logo in China. Turns out it’s not an easy thing to do. It’s not cheap either! I spent almost 100,000 RMB to register the logo. So now I can finally show it to everyone. This is a logo for a charity -- a foundation -- which is filled with love. It’s also a logo protected by law in China. In all seriousness, I hope everyone will honor and respect this logo and not use it under pirated or unlicensed circumstances.

This logo represents the hard work of many people. It’s cute, I like it a lot, and I hope you will like it as well. I firmly believe that this logo represents the idea that everyone in this world is part of one big family. Once again, I’d like to thank Peter Arnell and everyone at his company in New York.
