Crushes

This is quite a sensitive topic for me to reveal. Was toking to Yes_Tom over MSN and he mentioned i have lots of crushes.

Last Sunday sparked off a walk down to memory lane. Was during church, when i saw the lectors (those doing readings of the Holy Word) going up the altar, i see for the 2nd time the familiar face which i confirmed was my childhood friend, M. He grew really tall, had dyed brown hair and his voice was very low/deep, yet gentle. Ops but he made a mistake in the heading before he even started the reading itself. Then made a brief apology and continued. Used to play with him and another gal C since we all were from the same block (i'm still at, but not sure about them, probably moved out). Remembered he was very humorous, active, fun and his house had this projector TV from the ceiling to the floor; as kids, it looked pretty impressive. Also remembered he could sing quite well too-think he sung "When you're feeling blue". 2 years younger than me, but it was just childhood playing ard the estate with games at the playgrd etc.

Then as i grew older (played less at the playgrounds/downstairs), i saw D who was a very good rollerblader (rollerblades were very In that time), he was quite good-looking, with a mole on his face, but came off as a bit arrogant & loud. I was a tomboy btw, played like soccer, baseball, racing, catch, table-tennis, cycling, rollerblading when i was young...Anyway, there was this incident whereby he sped too fast in his blades and went over a rope and fell onto a grass patch enclosed area. Think i saw a bit of blood. At that time we children were crowding around him. I dunno why i just stood there and did nothing, just like an on-looker. One guy asked me to help him, but i didn't. In the end someone helped him up. Funny thing is i thot the fall was actually good for him, as it may help to kill some of his pride// Other encounters were when i was in Secondary sch, sometimes saw him in his dad's car and would give him the eye contact, other times at the bus stop. And would look up his window of his block. Think i even did crazy things like posted a bookmark into his letterbox and giving him prank calls just to hear his boisterous voice. How silly when i think back. After my "O" levels, managed to get into the top 5 JC which is across my house, i did another crazy thing. At that time, mIRC chat was quite in, and i used it to search for D in his school. Ended up chatting with his friend instead. And we even went for a blind date! He dragged his friend along when i didnt even! Such a scaredy cat. Actually quite dangerous to meet ppl u dunno online when you're a young gal...so dun really recommend tat. So we 'dated' but to me, it was just entertainment :P experience/kill time during the holidays while waiting for actual "O" results. Sadly i gave my first kiss to him at Sentosa beach on Valentine's Day (wat a waste :PPP since i didnt even like him very much). His family members even treated to me to seafood dinner at East Coast which is near my place, and asked me my dialect group-Teochew, and complimented on my good looks since Teochew gals were supposed to be pretty as per the elders :P can't speak teochew anyway :p Anyway this guy N, sang the song Eternal Flame for me, it sounded ok only, not a very good singer haha...But the most ironic thing is i was initially going after D but ended up with N, then we both met D and his gf at the bus stop. Yeps guess u can guess how i felt then. Silly times.

JC: Wanted to join the choir but saw the queue was toooo looong so i was lazy to audition. My secondary sch friend asked me to join Students' Council with her, so i just followed. Ironically i got in and she didn't. Ended up in the exco and even ran for presidency, became the vice-prez. Tat time, during camp i tot W was very smart, good looking so forth. He once said i was "Shen" after hearing me play piano, i asked him wat was that, in direct translation it's "God", but i guess it meant like good as almost out of this world/mystical? not too sure how to explain. Guess other council gals and his classmate hitted on him and he was with them. Whereas my penpal (senior councillor) hitted on me, and we just got together and he was my 1st boyfriend. How ironic again. I remembered W insulted me b4 later on, and he even tried to do farny things like asking me to pluck his white hair while my bf was looking from afar. Coz my bf was like not to be trifled with since he was a pole vaulter, track & field president and ASEAN scholar, had muscles (not tat it attracted me) and did handstands/Gold for any physical tests...so W i guess, was trying to 'fight' him to prove he's not afraid of him...duh...

University: Joined the main school choir, became the soprano section leader, and subsequently the student conductor. At that time, i didnt notice J till we were in an acapella group to sing for Singapore's president Nathan at the Istana (likened to White House i guess). We sang Amazing Grace & Summertime. For Summertime, we began with poses and as the introduction of the music moved, we moved. I happened to stand beside J, and he had 2 gals posing with him :P I just tot to lean on his back, and we were rehearsing in the choir room which had those dance mirrors. And at that point i tot we looked pretty good together! haha. We also chatted A LOT online (i was still with my 1st bf), he was a perfectionist himself. Heard he was one of the top scorers in the Dean's list in his mechanical engineering. He's non conformist even tho he's a Catholic, he loved the book Conversations with God. Even reading a book have to be 60 degrees so as not to spoil the book :PPP tat i couldnt stand. He was a superb artist- he showed me his portrait of his gf and the actual photo. It looked EXACTLY THE SAME!!! And in colour! Anyways he was also partially deaf and yet he had perfect pitch-means he could derive the note as desired or when one hears a melody, straightaway knows wat key it is in. Guess he was more of the previous and so was i.  He sang very well too...As we chatted he even complained that his gf dun understand him, and even betrayed him once, yet he forgave her. Anyway they're married aldy. This was the worst one-sided affair i had, coz he told me so many things and i tot he was at least mildly interested in me, both of us were attached, but in the end when i told him, he said we were just friends. I was devastated that my results fell steeply and was very depressed. I openly let my bf knew about it altho most of u wld not.

Oh yes, Mr Cloudz as i mentioned b4 in my previous blog was just a mild crush in my year 1, we were only classmates for the 1st year in Uni and another gal hooked him up very fast. They broke up fast too. He was like my eye candy in class and lectures (saw him massaged a guy and how lucky i tot the guy was :P) Becoz there were only i think 5 guys in our class of 20, i guess no. of gals liked Mr Cloudz too. Think maybe the last one is someone i jammed jazz with. Will not bore u so much details unless you're interested...anyway Mr Cloudz knew about him too.

P.S i just realised im attracted to alpha males :p and that sadly i seem to always make the 1st move, unlike my mum who had so many suitors....sob
