Day 2 Tokyo

12th Sept (Sun): Today covered Ginza, Odaiba (Lady Liberty & Rainbow bridge) & Roppongi

Sore feet rested after 2nd day of non stop walking. Today's meals were good, better and BEST, had good views and stumbled upon the impressive building of Yamaha at Tokyo Ginza, issit fate? Mm...

Had brunch at hotel's Italian restaurant, funnily pizza tasted better than the one i had at Italy and the olives tasted like wine (i usually dun really like olives). Tiramisu, my usual 'favourite staple'

Ginza 1st stop

Bought Hello Kitty & Little Twink Stars for my daughter and a friend

  Ginza street

Stumbled Again upon Yamaha, but this time it's a whole blding by itself at Ginza, stylish.

Pretty pianos. Played on a grand piano.

Lobby & auditorium. Some performances videos link below:

Had rhythm step and audience involvement: very Yamaha methodology

Old school Jap traditional sing along

Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZqjzVGFR-eU And something more 'modern' on the latest Stagea electone and violin performance

Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWGYkK9qvWI Asked the staff to take photo with me (told them i was from Yamaha SG), and they were pleasantly surprised :)

Above right: Bottom half of Yamaha Ginza building.

Next, found the famous Burberry Blue Label, but it's not the flagship store by itself i guess. Photo taking not allowed. But "No" to my desires is not in my dictionary heh.

However didnt find any designs of bags to my liking.

Was hungry, so we stopped over at this Lion restaurant which is rather prominent on the streets of Ginza for food. Went up the 2nd level as initially wanted cheese fondue. But tried other stuff instead.

Cheese platter: rather little in amt for S$20 over, but quality over quantity here. Beef hamburg was yummilicious with the sauce. And the German special baked potato with butter and bacon was Oiishi as well. We cleaned our plates.

Didnt manage to take the Lion symbol due to where i was seated.

Food is recommended here as u can see my thumbs up sign

Saw a commotion and found 2 kittens lying on the Ginza sign. Wonder who put them there?

Forever 21 store, bought stuff there

 Next stop: Odaiba Aqua City

"Lady Liberty" and Rainbow bridge by night

Yours truly~

Then found cute biscuits containing Tokyo landmarks

Bought it among many snacks for families

Then best meal of the day at a Kobe restaurant at Odaiba

Was wondering wat this was, happily pressing the white button then the waiter came...

Kobe beef platter with pork & chicken as well

It was OOOOOOOIIIIISHIIIIIIII, near orgasm in my mouth haha. The thinner pieces were extremely delicious!

Seafood pancake: was good as well

Strongly recommend this Kobe beef restaurant at Odaiba as u can see...

Opposite is a sushi/sashimi store which claims to be from the famous Tsukiji Fish mkt which im covering tomorrow

Night view; small section out of whole complex Tokyo metro/JR system

is that Tokyo Tower i wonder?

Roppongi Hills

 Dessert to finish Day 2~
