Day 5 Bali

Check out was at 12pm, so after breakfast, just watched the DVD loaned from the reception and packed up. Didnt take photos of the airport though...only the runway. Holidays were gone in a flash.

Guess learnt some lessons/info from Bali.

1) Becoz some shops use calculator, better to double check (do reasonableness test as per auditor's language) their calculation man. Luckily i did at the airport and the gal grossly miscalculated!

2) If staying at Kozy Villa, not much use bringing the toiletries with address on it. Must say Sunset Rd, Kunti 2 then the cab drivers would know.

3) Sunblock & insect repellant (commonly mentioned) for Bali. Good to bring insect/antiseptic cream. Got bitten once on my tummy, looked a bit scary.

4) Should hire a private driver to take you around if u wanna go for day tour, more economical and freedom to choose your destinations. Write down and bring along their contact.Dewa frm SGbrides.com forum was fine.

5) No time diff with S'pore.

6) Only Rupiah & USD accepted there.

7) When entering into departure gate, required to pay Rupiah 150,000 per pax for airport taxes. I briefly read it but didnt confirm it, so even tho we had some money left (wanted to change back to Sing), we were short of about S$4. They have a money changer just below the escalator.

8) Contrary to expectations, prices in Bali of food/stuff are about the same as S'pore, some even surpass. Only very few exceptions/maybe roadsides sell cheaper.

This is watever i could think of at this moment.
