He's Just Not That Into You

Been wanting to watch this due to the All Star Casting and the title

Scarlet Johansson, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Connelly, Ben Affleck, Brendan Cooper, Drew Barrymore and Justin Long

Similar to an old movie, Love Actually, this also shows different character's love predicament. Just that this one is not the lovey dovey kind. Jennifer and Ben are the together for 7 years couple who didnt get married since Ben dun believe in marriage like a contract to prove his love and commitment for her. Actually altho many gals and society believes in marriage, somehow i feel tat Ben is right in a way. Like for friendship, u dun need to get a paper to prove tat you guys are friends. Mm but some may argue marriage is more than tat...but then i guess some ppl get married and will wonder if they have missed out playing the field. Guess this is very debatable.

Scarlet is as usual, the big breasted, free spirited gal who tempts the married man who fell into temptation. And Jennifer Connelly (whom i tot was a younger botoxed version of Demi Moore blur me) is the suspicious wife who is insistent in finding out whois the culprit behind the stashed away cigarettes (Coz she insisted her husband to stop smoking after her dad died from lung cancer. Her husband incidentally smokes when he's nervous/guilty...yep). Scarlet on the other hand has a guy who she makes use of; slept with, then didnt anymore since she's not interested in her. When the guy offered her her dream house, she said tat was wat every gal wants, but the guy finished the sentence, she doesnt want to spend it with him. Tat kinda reminds me of my ex bf, who painted the whole future for me, but in the end i didnt want to spend it with him.

Anyway the guy Scarlet made use of, met Drew Barrymore and kinda got together. That was like a side acting of very little air time.

And the gal Gigi (dunno the actress' name) kept getting advice from (Justin Long) Alex on when to run away from a guy, when a guy is not into you. So his mantra is: When a guy doesn't call you or contact you at all, he's not interested in you. Unlike wat gals try to say and console each other-like u're too good for him etc excuses...And if a guy is interested in u, no matter wat, he'd find you by hook or by crook. [Guys so these r true right?]So after giving advice to Gigi, they both fell in love with each other instead.

Back to Jennifer Aniston, she finally got married when Ben decides to propose to her, even when finally she decides she shouldnt force him to get married with her. That was sooooo sweet, and touching. Felt sorry for Jennifer there and in real life since Brad Pitt dumped her for Angelina Jolie. Life sux sometimes for ppl...poor gal.

Funny thing i felt a bit melancholy after the show instead of being happy, altho there were comic elements in it. Guess i think too much again as usual...
