Overheard-spoiler alert

After seeing recommendations from Etchy and Nancy here, decided to go ahead with watching Overheard.

Louis Koo, Daniel Wu and Liu Qing Yun are in the financial criminal busting team which involves tapping on ppl's conversations and privacy via bugs in the office and hps. (Hence the title Overheard). They were on to a case and stumbled upon info about stocks gonna rise substantially overnight. Louis Koo and his cancer-strickened son need money for their medical bills hence Louis Koo begged Dan Wu to erase that vital piece of info in their recording of the dialogue of the suspected businessman. And surprisingly, Dan Wu borrowed a hefty 5 million from a bank loan to dabble with that particular share which is gonna rise. Indeed the stock rose quickly, however trading was halted due to its abnormal rise, and the governing org wanted to investigate. In the meantime, they abducted the businessman to prevent his death to 'atone' for their misuse of information. One thing led to another, a gal who plotted to kill the businessman recognized the face of Liu Qing Yun, which led to the many attempts to cover up and tragedies that follow.

It's quite drama, usually misuse of info, they'd just end up being caught. However, they got involved with the triad boss who exterminated their families. Hence a mere misuse of info snowballed into their own personal tragedies whereby their loved ones and/or them were killed.

Guess it's a sad show. But ok, not bad.
