Troublesome Ppl

Quite new to my recently taken up profession...only into my 3rd mth or so.

I'm quite pissed about things that some parents nitpick about.

1) How come the teacher doesn't write homework on the board?

First of all, i already said, feel free to take down notes as the lesson progresses, and if any qns, JUST ASK ME!!! Shouldn't you be responsible to take down the topics of the lessons as it's being taught in class??? And this was not told to me, it was told to my admin ppl. Secondly, i was not informed that i was supposed to do so. Anyway, fine, not a problem, i've already started doing that.

2) There was a Sat sch holiday last week. And the previous week, i was telling all parents PRESENT that the following week is a sch hol. In LESSON ONE, i told them to LOOK AT THEIR CALENDARS for holidays. So it's MY fault for them NOT LOOKING AT THEIR CALENDARS, AND BEING ABSENT for a lesson, when i told the class there was a holiday the following week. IT's SO UNFAIR to me!!!!! Secondly, I WAS again NOT INFORMED that there's such things as MISS YOU cards, whereby we are supposed to write down topics we went thru in class, and give it to the admin ppl who will snail mail them....my gosh......so SPOON FED. I mean, in school, normal school, if we are absent, we would just ask our classmate or teacher what has been taught in class when we are back from our leave isn't it???

3) Seating arrangement: parents, being kiasu, haggle over sitting in front etc etc....when the teacher actually walks around to check on each kid....Everyone regardless where they are seated...but im glad and hope this has passed over. Hopefully not a big issue anymore.

Ok...i wonder wat else i'd face in the future... sighhhhhhhh
