A friend of mine showed me this. I think it REALLY applies to the design world. I think most artists on AnD will understand what this video is saying:
Video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2a8TRSgzZY It's possible to commission creative work for very little money, whether it's music, art, acting, etc. But what those clients seem to forget is that you get what you pay for, right?
:)
I just picked up a few copies of Marvel's Strange Tales MAX #3 of which I did four pages for.
Cover by Stan Sakai of Usagi Yojimbo fame.
This isn't for anything in particular, just an exercise to draw some Marvel Characters!
The Silver Surfer. What an amazing concept for a character. I don't think this is how he is conventionally represented in the comics but it's a nice challenge to interpret him my way.
I just completed my contract with Time Out HK for the UTT articles written by Angie Wong, having illustrated 30 issues of 'Under the Table' with them. It's been a nice run, here below are a few of my favorites:An article about One Child Policy, and how this fat, rich, 10 year old kid hitting on Angie on a yacht.
Awesome.

I did a few illustrations for South China Morning Post's Classified Post. It's a campaign to 'Unleash your career Superhero!' Used variously as print ads, eDM's and such. Sign up at classifiedpost.com !!!
A new gallery is opening up in Soho on Aberdeen Street just up from Staunton!
I have a few pieces up, and will be exhibiting alongside some very cool artists from the UK and other parts of Europe as well as the very brilliantDorophy Tang.
I also believe DALEK will be exhibiting a few pieces at No Borders. Dalek served as an apprentice to Murakami. Here's a kick ass time-lapse video of his work:

Quite possibly the most beautiful song ever.
Piece for a band in Tokyo, Japan called Die For City. It's currently typhoon 8 in Hong Kong. I feel like a mad scientist in the night. Only missing the thunder and lightning.
