OK!  I'm back to normal now!  And frustrated!  Unfortunately got over

my concert's happiness!  Came back to reality when tonight, I came

home and got real shitty attitude from one of the workers at home.  I

didn't realize she took advantage of me until couple of hours later.

"One Freakin Playa".   I can't believe, I wouldn't let this happen if

I had a clear mind,  O.K gotta wake up from my concert's hype.

What happened tonight was, while I was just teaching this domestic

helper how to communicate with my Uni's doctor in a genuine tone, she

sat on my sofa like my mother and answered me back with "Oh!  Josie

Ho!" in front of her other colleages.   Then she kept watching TV

while I talked to her.  Then I realized I'm back to my daily hell

hole where I have to deal with everything alone.  Help!  Who can

help!  Help!  I sincerely need help!    Should I make her call me

"Maam" from now on or "Master"?  I figured I don't have enough time

to deal with this so you better give me some advice on it.  Believe

me, I don't like her but she's got my babies and Uni!  Btw, Conroy

never helped and never will so don't need to mention him!

Peace

Josie

does she read your blog? maybe she'll find out you're POed and check herself. :-P But seriously... life is full of these kind of things, you just gotta deal with them as they come, but don't let it stress you out too much, life is too short to waste on stress. take some time to relax now that the shows are over and 'find your center' again...

Hmm... In my opinion you should address the situation with the Maid from a business perspective. You could of course take the approach where you demean her by making her call you "Master" or "Maam"... But I think it would be better to address her as a person, and give her a warning (non emotionally of course)... Tell her that you have a working relationship with her, and that she has crossed the line. You deserve to be respected in your own home. If it were to happen again, she will be let go. More than likely, she didnt mean to disrespect you... she was just ignorant of her actions in that moment. If when you confront her, she denies her actions were disrespectful, then you may want to fire her outright... Keep in mind of course, this "advice" is very much from the American perspective... so I may not understand the cultural differences between worker and employer in HK... (so take it with a grain of salt) :) he-he But a good rule of thumb is to always treat someone the way you wish to be treated yourself. whether great or small... Look at it as a deposit into your Karmic account! ;) Hope that it all works out for you...

Don't even give her a second chance... fire her.. finding someone else would be less stressful than continuely dealing the attitude. Unless you're abusing her in some way, which you don't strike me as the type of person, then there's no need from the attitude from her. Obviously doesn't like her job that much. Hang in there girl.
