HAPPY NEW YEAR!

 

The night before on New Year's Eve I flew to Shanghai once again, to attend the ; on May 1, 2010, the expo will officially launch in Shanghai, but on the night of New Year's Eve I welcomed the arrival of the world expo year with Shanghai's residents.

This New Year's Eve concert was held outdoors at Shanghai's Waitan (The Bund). The producer decided to put on fireworks continuously throughout the performance to heighten the lively atmosphere, making an already bright and multicoloured Waitan appear even more dazzlingly beautiful!

 

 

The weather in Shanghai was extremely cold and furthermore this event was held beside Waitan, so I took all measures to keep out the cold, especially wearing a white down-padded jacket, and also a pair of silver leggings. Does it feel a little like an outer space costume?

 

The enthusiasm from everyone warmed up the extremely cold weather.

Also present were Leon Lai, Grasshopper, Ekin Cheng and others. Also I haven't seen my "diehard followers/good friends" Grasshopper from the time I hosted a TVB music programme many years ago, but this time being able to count down the new year together, everyone was especially excited! Moreover we each have just started our concert tours, and promised to find time to go and support each others concert!

 

To me 2009 was a wonderfully rich year. I released an album that was well received, shot two films, and in addition to holding my own concert tour, I also went to rebuild Sichuan's earthquake affected area, to Canada to shoot a short film to end seal hunting and other volunteer charity events. Therefore I'm extremely grateful to all my staff members and friends who have helped me over the past year. I hope 2010 will continue to be successful, that everyday will be happy, and also hope to have new breakthroughs in the music department to bring to music fans!

前晚大除夕我又再次飛到上海，出席了跨年晚會 <迎世博上海新年倒計時

； 2010年的 5月 1日，世博將會於上海正式展開，大除夕晚我便跟上海的市民一起迎接世博年的來臨。

這次的跨年晚會場地在上海的外灘戶外舉行，製作單位在演出時不停放煙花增強熱鬧的氣氛，讓本來已經五光十色的外灘顯得更璀璨美麗！

 

 

上海的天氣非常寒冷加上在外灘旁邊舉行活動，我都要做足禦寒的措施，特別穿上一件白色的羽絨外套，加上銀色的貼身長褲，感覺是不是有一點像外太空裝束呢?

 

你們的熱情令本來十分寒冷的天氣也溫暖起來. 

同場的還有黎明、草蜢、鄭伊健等，而我多年前在 TVB主持音樂節目時的“死黨”草蜢更是多年沒有見面，這次我們能夠在一起倒數跨年，大家都感到特別興奮！而且彼此都剛開始巡迴演唱會的期間，說一定要抽空去看對方的演唱會支持對方！

 

2009年對我來說是非常豐盛精彩的一年，推出了一張備受好評的唱片，拍了兩部電影，還有舉行個人巡迴演唱會外，還去四川地震災區重建，到加拿大拍攝停止獵殺海豹宣傳短片等慈善義工活動，所以我非常感謝過去一年來幫助過我的所有工作人員及朋友，寄望 2010年可以繼續工作順利，天天開心，而且希望在音樂方面有新的突破帶給歌迷朋友！
