The East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation is hosting its Second Annual Casino Night and Poker Tournament on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at the Washington Inn, 495 10th Street, in downtown Oakland. The event, which features Blackjack, Roulette, Craps and non-tournament Poker, will be held from 6:30 – 10:30 p.m.
General admission tickets cost $35 and participants receive generous appetizers, door prizes, and can qualify for over $3,200 in prizes. According to Lynette Jung Lee, EBALDC’s Executive Director, “this is a very fun event and the more chips you win, the better your chances are at winning one of the prizes. It is also a special fundraiser that supports our operations and assists us in our outreach to younger supporters, who like to participate in gaming activities.”
A separate Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament will also be held, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Buy-in for the Poker Tournament is $30 and seating is limited. Tournament prizes include a two-night stay at any OMNI Hotel in the US (except NYC); a Microsoft X-Box 360 Gaming System; and a one-day trip on the South Fork of the American River.
