Emily Murase Launching Run for School Board

Emily Murase ( www.emilymurase.com) will launch her campaign for San Francisco school board at a community potluck on Tuesday, June 10, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Japanese Cultural & Community Center of Northern California, 1840 Sutter Street (near Webster) in San Francisco Japantown.

Emily and husband Neal’s 2 children attend the Japanese Bilingual Bicultural Program (JBBP) at Rosa Parks Elementary School and Emily is herself a product of San Francisco public schools, K-12. As former chair of the Parent Advisory Council appointed by the San Francisco Board of Education, she is committed to making the public school system work for San Francisco families.
