Some hikings during Labor Day weekend

I just had a "healthy" labor day weekend, spending most of my time hiking in the peinsula area as well as a farm in fremont... wasn't supposed to hike at these places but ended up having some good time and had some fresh air.

1st day of trip- lost in a forest

these trees are really big and tall...

do you know what is this?

it is all natural... looks creepy though

  so you can see the size of those thing known as sandstone...

2nd day- the rail and farm (a railfair in a farm in fremont..)

no, i am not a fan of railways..and dont ask me why i was there...

this southern pacific 1010 is supposed to be one of the earliest passenger cars in the country..

a rail fair gotta have some toys to keep the kids coming...

yeah this is a farm..but wait, isnt scarecrow supposed to be scary?? isn't this one a bit too cute to scare the crow?

i am sure some of you may feel intimate seeing these folks... j/k
