It’s been a while since I’ve heard the last mixtape that was rotationworthy enough to be bumpin’ on my system non-stop. Dip dawg kicks off Brooklyn-based multimedia graphic collective Pomp & Clout‘s new mix series by delivering 60 minutes jam-packed with 60s rock&roll, 70s deep soul, 80s acid rock, 90s punk rock by the likes of The Sonics, The Silver Apples, Rotary Connection, Ken Nordine, The Hard-ons and even a Portuguese version of The Rolling Stones’ “Paint It Black”. No tracklisting revealed, but highly enjoyable from the first to the very last minute.
