fulfilling a dream.

Few people know that I’ve wanted to act since I was 10 years old. It was the year 1993, and I was watching “Star Search Singapore” > when I was inspired & realised that I would really like to perform like one of those actors onscreen. But shy as I was, I never blossomed & stepped out of my shell as a child.

Fast forward to 2006. I finally plucked up the courage to enrol myself in Lasalle College & learn the foundation of Theatre Arts, experiencing Acting, Movement, Dance, Voice & Play Analysis lessons – a whole new world to me, but a world I really, truly fell in love with.

Finally, in 2010, I fulfilled a long-held dream (for 17 years!), auditioning for Star Search 2010 .

So what if I knew I wasn’t their “type”?

What matters is that I tried, and that I came full circle, auditioning for the competition that got me inspired in the first place. And now I’m on to greater things, because I’ve fulfilled that first dream.

Because dreams are made to be fulfilled.
