The Arts Commission has recently completed the selection of new artist and artist team candidates for the Central Subway Artist Pool designed to enhance the Central Subway Artist Pool established in 2005.  From the 420 applications received, the Central Subway Artist Selection Panel selected 36 artists and artist teams whose work and experience was deemed most appropriate for the specific art opportunities at the Central Subway stations. With the 29 artists and artist teams in the original Artist Pool, the Central Subway Artist Pool of pre-qualified artists now has a total of 65 artists and artist teams, including local and national, emerging and more established artists, coming from a range of cultural backgrounds, and working in a wide variety of media.

Unfortunately, your application was not one of those selected. We know that this news is disappointing to you, but we hope you will consider applying for future Arts Commission public art projects.
