An exhibition representing fifty years of photography at the Arts Institute at Bournemouth

from here to there is an exhibition of contemporary photography by alumni of the Arts Institute at Bournemouth, formerly Bournemouth and Poole College of Art and Design. The exhibition is a celebration which brings together the works of up-and-coming young photographers and some already well-established names in the industry. The exhibition offers an insight into the distance travelled by these photographers: one favourite image from their graduate portfolio along with examples of their current work will be exhibited, alongside an accompanying text which reflects on their professional aspirations and hopes for the future.

from here to there will cover fifty years of photography from our graduates. These include Philip Townsend, Nick Knight, Michael Birt, John Bradshaw, George Brooks, Mitja Bozic, Craig Fordham, Karen Fuchs, Froncois Gillet, Rolph Gobits, Martin Hartley, Ted Humble-Smith, Lee Jenkins, Marcel Lam, Lester Lee, Carl Lyttle, Adrian Myers, Jim Naughten, Steve Orino, Spiros Politis, Garry Simpson, Glen Taylor, Oli Tennent, Sarah Turton, Ben Wright and Wolfgang Tillmans who represent a selection of photographic talent from Bournemouth, who have achieved success and who are working all around the world.
