One week into my new job at Electronic Arts..
That place is HUGE. It is cubicle after cubicle after cubicle after studio after coffee machine after cubicle after another.
I got in at the beginning of a Nintendo DS project, It's awesome to be there from the start and not jump in on something already underway. No one has a vision that dictates what I do so as long as it is badass it's all up to me. The game isn't announced yet but it looks great. A true good idea that will be fun on DS and Wii.
I'm making a forest now. Luckily I took a couple days a few weeks ago to learn how to draw trees a little better and now I'm drawing those same trees I came up with back then and putting them into the game.
Interstingly, there is the most work I've had to complete for a project but it's also the easiest because of the support team. I can really focus on the art and there is someone to handle the tech side, production and every little thing you could need to max out productivity. Pretty cool.
I'll put some new art up soon, got such a huge backlog of stuff I want to finish but starting the new project i need to stay focused for a bit.
Concept artist and creature designer.
