Swiss cartoonist Eugene “Zim” Zimmerman (1862-1933) is a new name to me, and boy am I glad I found out about him. Zim was a cartoonist in the early 1900’s and is credited as being the developer of the grotesque school of caricature.

As fate would have it, this incredibly rare book showed up in a used bookstore in Arizona, and ASIFA Archive supporter Marc Shirmeister snatched it up, and generously donated it to be scanned at the archive.
