The latest project I've been working on Final Move was a very daring and challenging short about a post apocalyptic world where a demon took over after he escaped from the game he'd been imprisoned to.
The story begins anew when one of the survivors of the initial game sets out to finish it and undo the harm that came onto the world, aided by some unlikely friends he meets along the way.
This project was great. It combined a great story with a great group of people with a vision and drive and I think the outcome might well be a fantastic one!
Here are some screen shots (no grading yet, this is just the images how they were recorded with the filters used.
Notice Cela in the background!!
Of the crew there are some people you might remember from previous projects of mine:
Yveline, who saved my sanity material-wise on Reiki and who makes one of the very best camera assistants I know
The director/cameraman who's on AnD as well (He and Yvi wrote the script together, if I'm correct and Team Awesome they make!)
This btw, was day four and he was getting ... edgy... pictures of him over the next few days are not for sensitive viewers and thus shall not be shown on the internet. (Only on the special edition of the DVD lol)
Meet Arne... if you dare
Great Annelien! Who came to help us out once again! She assisted in both Reiki and Life is an Art and continues to rock our socks
Rik co-produced Final Move and teams up for the occasion with Natasha Henri as battle-prone slaves.
Kick-ass!
Last but not least we have Mat Kemp, our wonderful sound engineer whom we were so lucky to steal away
He's still not sure what that thing does, but who cares! first met on Life is an Art, I tackled him and napped him to Belgium to help us out.
And Crane! Horray!
truely a behind the scenes shot ;)
ok, at this point I have to leave for work once again... Studio show (belgian version of 'hole in the wall', format brought to us from Japan, apparently ;)
Next week I'll be in holland assisting the camera department on a shortfilm.
I'll tell you everything when I get back!
take care!!
