AFter our rehearsal at the JC Group offices we have a couple hours to kill before going to the venue for a group dress rehearsal that evening.
the alive not dead crew, along with the fine folks from audio traffic (and jason tobin) caught a cab and headed over to the ferry terminal area to grab some food at white spot. (i opted for a wrap at mix).

After that we walked down the street to the big venue next to the Star Ferry Terminal. I'm a dork because I can't remember what the place is called right now, but that's okay. It's a big place .. you can't miss it.
We all wandered in to the building and made our way to the dressing rooms. We were all supplied with our magical black jump suits, alive not dead bandanas and light sticks. We looked like some sort of carpenter army. But it was fun taking pictures and hanging out. I got a couple shots of the alive boys posing with their glittery suits.
Most people will look at this for the picture of Dan, but personally I think the one of Stephen is way more interesting. He looks like he wants to kick someone's ass. I believe the man next to him is featured with binoculars in the new Qiu Hong video.
Here is Kim, the man who directed the latest Qiu Hong MV
Dan is "Staying Alive (not dead)"
We really need to get some shirts that I can wear in public ...
The alive not dead bandit. @!#%! took my wallet!
It seems that sparkle = disco dance pose. I have one of Conroy doing it too, but I will spare you.
Meet "Pat". Don't make him show you "Lee"!
After we were all ready we headed down to the main stage. The band set up, and we all went through the movements again and figured out our choreography. It was actually pretty warm in those black jumpsuits and after a while I was sweating like a stuck pig.
This rehearsal thing with the rotating stage and big RIP tombstone went on for an hour or two, but we finally got the okay to finish up and we all went upstairs and stripped out of our hot suits. The next day was the performance with a short full dress rehearsal for all particpants at 2 p.m.
Oh Alive .. I hardliy knew ye ...
The audience was empty .. except for these two folks. JayCee (sp?) flashes me a peace sign

We look like we're preparing to attack a paint store
The alive not dead group (this is my name for us folks who work in the office, as well as our regular hang-out buddies like raffi), along with Hiro and Jack, headed to pat's for some quick Wii action and then to Racks (home of Boon the Bouncer) where I watched a roast pig birthday party and one of the most drunken, dysfunctional relationships I've ever witnessed.
But, as I've said before, I don't really like the bar/club scene at all, so I bowed out early. Just as I was leaving though I saw Terence downstairs with Marsha and Eugenia. They were just arriving which meant that I left just in the nick of time.
I grabbed a taxi and headed home, preparing myself for the Hong Kong Film Awards the next day ...
