Figuring it out

Hmmm...not much going on right now.  I'm trying to figure out what my future is going to be here in Shanghai. I've been feeling a bit anti social since Musical Moments.  I had such a great time doing the show with everyone..that it seemed too fast for it to all end.  It's always sooo hard for me to say good-bye.  I'm a bit confused about my future...I know what I'm aiming for...but, at the same time...I feel too anxious.  I know I should have more faith...and I should believe that everything will fall into place....but, it's hard sometimes when it feels a bit lonely....and well, the anti social part doesn't do me any good.  I just don't want to meet people casually.....I'd rather build a real friendship with someone and feel comfortable and not fake....and, it takes me so long before I can feel that way with most people.

Last Sat was my first day teaching the little kids dance at JZ school. I've been gone for the first 2 weeks...so, it was a bit hard to get into the swing of things..plus, the electricity wasn't working for more than half of the class.  The kids are all VERY cute.  I'm working with little 6 year olds!  2 of them are my beautiful nieces Wen and Mei.  I've never worked with such young kids...so, I think that the routine I made was a little too demanding.  I'll have to tone it down...They are doing "Alladin" and I'll have to help them with the "Prince Ali" routine this coming Sat.  Hopefully, it will be a better class than last week!

Other than teaching I've been taking many many classes...it is so much cheaper to learn things in Shanghai..and well....my whole purpose of coming here was so that I could learn more things.  I've been taking some mandarin classes, as well as wu shu, and piano/theory...and the other day I took a master class for jazz vocal.  It was a great class. The singers name was Sinne.  She is a very good singer!

OH, and today I finally met up with Li Tong and Robert for lunch!  It was good to see them since I haven't seen them since Musical Moments.

Other projects are in the negotiating period...and I should be giving a little concert soon at the JZ Club...and hoping to have a cabaret in HK next year....we'll see what happens!
