Me and my new voice

For some odd reason....my throat likes to start hurting right before I have to perform.  I think it likes to challenge me and take control of the situation....well....I'm going to have to fight it before tomorrow evening....yesterday I went to get some Chinese medicine to drink...YUCK!!!  I really hate that stuff..but, I prefer to drink that then to take antibiotics.  I probably went to bed around 10pm....afterall, sleep is the best medicine...So...this morning...I was hoping to wake up and the pain would be gone..but, throughout the night I would wake up because when I swallowm my throat hurts!  And when I finally REALLY woke up....my throat felt like it was swollen and I'm wondering if my neck grew an inch!..hahaha....well....I forgot where I heard this..but, it was a famous singer who once said that if you have a cold and you have to sing....well...use it to your advantage....sometimes it might come out with more feeling....hahaha...well, you know, I've always wanted a more sultry husky voice! let's see what happens tomorrow....
