Ok, so....the pole dancing competition is coming up this Friday....I am completely and utterly terrified!!! I really hope that this will be the last competition that I ever have to do in my life. I'm starting to feel nervous because today at practice I could barely get through the entire routine! I'm going to have to change a few things around in my routine and put the hard things more at the beginning...by the end of my routine I'm so exhausted I can't get my legs up on the pole for the upside down move!!! My boots feel soooo heavy!!! But, it really doesn't look good with bare feet...it makes a huge difference when I put on the high boots...but, they must weight at least 10 more lbs!!!
My last day of training will be on Tues...and then I'll have one practice to try it out on the competition pole in Manila. I can't believe it's less than a week away!!! I'm SOOOOO nervous!!!!
On another note, I'll be performing once again at Sevva this Wed. This time I'm covering for Howard McCrary because he will be away for his honeymoon. It's a nice atmosphere for hanging out...but, I definitely feel a different sort of vibe when I'm performing for my own concert/show. It's just nice to be in such a high class place with top musicians...once again, Bob Mokarski will be on piano, Olivier Smith will be on sax...and this time instead of Peter Scherr, Sylvain Gagnon (also an excellent musician) will be on Bass. I love working with these guys!!!
